Local students named to dean’s lists

Amanda Bruemmer, daughter of Joy and Larry Bruemmer, of Arvada, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Augsburg College in Minneapolis. To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or better and be enrolled full time.

Augsburg College is a private, Lutheran four-year and graduate school.

Mark Alexander J. Cerf, a student in the College of Arts and sciences at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, was named to the dean’s academic honor list for the spring semester.

To be named to the dean’s list, a student must be an undergraduate with a minimum grade-point average of 3.7, while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.

Baylor is a private Christian research university and a nationally ranked liberal arts institution.

Ashley R. Dallum, Paige Joelle Fischer, Rianna M. Neal and Kristin Marie Snyder were named to the president’s honor roll at the University of Wyoming for the spring semester.

To be named to the president’s honor roll, a student must earn a 4.0 grade-point average and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Alexandria Lee Barrett, Isaac R. Comcowich, Nicholas J. Dumford, Zachary C. Fink, Shelby Miriam Hayes, Amanda R. Klostermann, Nicholas David Reinicke, Samuel Adam Reinicke, Samantha Katlyn Snethen and Miranda J. Todor were named to the academic dean’s or dean’s freshman honor roll at the university.

To qualify for the honor rolls, students must be enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours, and freshmen must earn a minimum 3.25 grade-point average, and undergraduates above freshman standing must earn a 3.4 grade-point average.

The University of Wyoming in Laramie, is the state’s only four-year, higher-education institution.

Rachel Moore was named to the dean’s list at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore., for the spring semester.

To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a term grade-point average of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale and complete 12 or more graded hours.

Pacific University annually ranks as one of America’s Best Colleges by U.S. News & World Report.

Arvada students receive degrees

Elizabeth Hatz and Justin Langfield received degrees from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo. Hatz received her master’s degree in business administration and health care leadership. Langfield graduated cum laude, receiving his bachelor of science degree in exercise and sport science.

Rockhurst University is one of 28 Catholic, Jesuit universities in the United States.

    To me what differentiated High Speed Universities from a plethora of other online schools was the regional accreditation, competency based programs and the how fast you can get the degree.
