Elena Vasconez is director of the Women's Business Center at Mi
Casa Resource Center and Small Business Consultant at the South
Metro SBDC. Elena has more than 10 years experience in business
counseling, strategic planning, and management development. As a
bilingual business counselor she has helped launch more than a100
small businesses and has taught a variety of business classes both
in English and Spanish. She was recently named the director of the
Women's Business Center at Mi Casa Resource Center. The Center
annually serves more than 200 startups and existing business
through business training and counseling. Elena has a master's in
business administration and is the owner of High Impact Solutions,
The mission of Mi Casa Resource Center is “to advance the
economic success of Latino families.” Through entrepreneurial
training, business counseling, and mentoring, the Mi Casa’s Denver
Women’s Business Center assists socially and economically
disadvantaged women and other populations of Denver and its
surroundings cities achieve lasting economic stability.
