This workshop will target the tight regions of the body commonly found in many elite and everyday athletes. While a typical vinyasa practice targets the muscle itself; Yin postures focus on stretching the connective tissues which help increase mobility and decrease the risk of injury. Combining more intense stretches with renewing restorative postures we will open the the quadriceps, psoas, hips, glutes, hamstrings, intercostals, and shoulders, while also supporting the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing the body to restore itself. Be prepared for longer holds in postures that will not only challenge the body but also the mind.
