(Denver, CO) — On August 23, the Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society (DAVMS) will host the Puttin’ for PetAid golf tournament benefitting PetAid Colorado, a Denver-based non-profit organization that provides healthcare opportunities for pets from vulnerable populations. The tournament will be held at Racoon Creek Golf Course in Littleton and will be followed by a banquet buffet and silent auction.
DAVMS hopes to raise $40,000 to support PetAid’s four programs, which include PetAid Animal Hospital, Care Grants, Disaster Services, and Home Outreach. These programs provide services to thousands of pets
each year that would otherwise be unattainable.
Fees to participate in the tournament vary based on the group size and include golf, lunch, and dinner. Groups of four can hit the green for $600 and individuals can play for $150. Golfers that are not in a group will have the opportunity to be paired with other pet lovers by event staff.
Registration will begin at noon and end at 12:45 PM, and boxed lunches will be available to golfers during this time. Tee off time starts at 1 PM, and participants are invited to attend a dinner buffet and silent auction at 6 PM.
Raccoon Creek Golf Course is located at 7301 W. Bowles Avenue in Littleton.
In conjunction with the DAVMS, Puttin’ for PetAid is sponsored by ASPCA, Bank of America, Simmons Intermountain, VCA Antech, and VRCC Veterinary Surgical Services.
