Colorado officials have quarantined a Douglas County equine facility after a horse was confirmed affected by the equine herpes virus. The facility was quarantined May 10, the first day a horse showed signs of the EHV virus, said Dr. Kate Anderson, a veterinarian with the Colorado Department of Agriculture’s animal-protection bureau.
