Larkspur motorist dies on Tomah Road Staff report Colorado Community Media | 0 comments

A Larkspur man died in a single-car rollover crash on Tomah Road, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Joseph Michael Szymanski III, 46, was traveling east on Tomah Road July 11 when he crashed a white Chevy Blazer near the entrance to the Dawson Butte Trailhead, said Sgt. Ron Hanavan, spokesman for the sheriff’s office.

The crash was reported around 3:15 p.m. and Szymanski was pronounced dead about 15 minutes later.

Cause of death was reported by the Douglas County coroner as multiple blunt-force injuries and the crash remained under investigation, Hanavan said.
