Castle Rock n’ Rollers tackle fifth new season of flat-track derby

The Castle Rock n’ Rollers are back at it again. Bruises and all.

The Castle Rock-based women’s flat-track roller derby league has officially put its off-season of boot camps, jam scenarios and off-skate cardio training into action with a home bout against Missle Mountain of Colorado Springs Feb. 17 at the Douglas County Events Center in Castle Rock. Being a relatively new program in the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association, the Rollers are thriving to establish themselves in the association with more strength and experience. This season, the Rollers have six WFTDA-sanctioned bouts on its schedule, allowing the team to be ranked by association standards.
