City website recognized

“We’re really excited,” city spokeswoman Allison Wittern said. “At the city, we strive to provide up-to-date information. It’s an ever-evolving site. There’s always room for improvement, but it was nice to be recognized for what we’ve done so far.”

Wittern thinks the website’s ability to provide specialized city information to residents has been one of its most popular features.

“If someone’s interested in receiving information about road projects, they can register to receive just that information,” she said. “And since we’ve been streaming the city council meetings, people have been listening, so that’s been exciting.”
