A glint of sun peeks over the shoulder of Shohini Ghosh’s sculpture entitiled “How Do You Feel Today?” The large bronze piece of a lady in repose is one of two new installations featured at Centennial’s Goodson Recreation Center, as part of South Suburban Park and Recreation District’s Art-on-Loan program. Ghosh has been a professional sculptor since 1993 and was a lecturer of sculpture in India. She now resides Highlands Ranch. She works with a variety of mediums including bronze, fiberglass, iron, copper, bronze, paper fiber, and aluminum.
Located east of the Goodson Recreation Center’s entrance, along the main driveway Bryon Bren’s bright red enameled tower entitled “Fibonacci Due” welcomes visitors with an interesting geometric greeting. Bren is a self-taught welder and artist, and his work is one of two new installations selected as part of as part of South Suburban Park and Recreation District’s Art-on-Loan program.
