Looking very much the way it did 120 years ago, the 17 Mile House is an Arapahoe County designated heritahe area. The house, along with its distinctive red barn are part of a new 75-acre open space park that opened in Centennial, Saturday, Oct. 20.

Speaking from the porch of the very house in which they grew up, the two were very happy their former home is now part of a historical trust and will be preserved for many generations to enjoy.
