Coffman, Miklosi to debate Oct. 30

The Highlands Ranch Chamber of Commerce is co-hosting a one-hour debate between U.S. House District 6 challenger Joe Miklosi (D-Aurora) and incumbent Mike Coffman (R-Aurora) at 8 a.m. Oct. 30.
With the newly redrawn district lines, this particular race affects residents and businesses in Highlands Ranch, as well as Arapahoe County and small areas outside of Arapahoe, including Thornton.
Eli Stokols from Fox 31 will be moderating the debate, with questions combing from the two chamber co-hosts – the Highlands Ranch Chamber of Commerce and the South Metro Denver Chamber.
“We’re hoping to hear about the candidates’ views on job growth and business development in the counties affected,” said Highlands Ranch chamber president LaRae Marsik.
“Local business leaders are interested in how each candidate will encourage and manage the economic growth that is happening in our business community, so that Highlands Ranch and the surrounding communities can continue to thrive.”
The debate will take place in the auditorium at Highlands Ranch’s Southridge Recreation Center, 4800 McArthur Ranch Road. Doors open at 7:30 a.m., with the debate beginning promptly at 8.
