It is so encouraging to see a departure from the culture of GAGA (go along to get along) that so often sweeps the truth under the rug.

Now. How many times does this have to happen before we wake up and form a home-rule government? That would have saved a huge amount of heartache and cost with not only this fisaco, but also past rogue sheriffs and others.
Our BOCC has shown through the years to be competent and responsive. Lets let them form an organization that can manage the county instead of having these unaccountable rogues who get elected then tell us to pound sand.
Is it a coincidence that Sheryl is Administrator of the year? I think not. Not only is she terriffic - She was selected by the BOCC and could be fired by the BOCC. That’s called accountability.
The current government structure is a relic of Colorado's history. Home rule would bring us up to at least the twentieth century.
