As a native Coloradan living elsewhere, I was shocked at the gross insensitivity and obvious incompetence manifested by Evie Hudak. She continues to claim that she connects with her constituents every day but if she did, they wouldn’t have been moved to attempt a second recall. And in spite of the now-squirming left wing protests, recalls will continue as long as elected officials continue to ignore the will of their constituents. At the end, the will of their constituents is exercised in several ways including recalls as well as elections. Those who ignore this recall again soon will suffer with a string of outrageous legislative acts that will strip away their personal freedoms as well as their civil rights. I’ve never seen an elected official less deserving of her position of trust.2 months ago
Perlmutter is a typical big-government communist who believes if everyone shares equally in the national wealth, self-protection will become a useless anachronism much like the buggy whip. How did Coloradans allow this crop of fools such power? Time to recall and get the government back to its basic function.6 months ago
The chief says, "I think I’m pretty confident..." Nothing like a little science to settle an issue. Why would we allow an unelected person with a conflict of interest to simply sweep aside data that refutes his position. There's something sleazy about elected officials who use law enforcement to bail out their fiscal irresponsibility. It's worse when they allow law enforcement to speak for them. Anyone with even a passing constitutional acquaintance knows where this is going. The salient question is how many millions these officials and the camera companies will fleece from us before the Supreme Court rules. The best way to stop them is at the ballot box.Apr 29, 2012
