Absolute conflict of interest by this bozo and a very desperate attempt at influencing the election by a dying GOP party.1 month ago
Franceen...quoting anything from the Colorado Observer is laughable. It is a rag created by the GOP that is blatantly biased and isn't meant to be news..its purely propaganda.

I literally laughed when I received the email from DCSD Superintendent Elizabeth Fagen. She casually mentioned what they had done in paying Bennett and put the news amongst other things so it hopefully wouldn't be noticed.
It's a shame that the GOP school board has made such poor decisions and tried to shield themselves from the public by closing meetings. To now try to buy the election is the final straw. I hope all those painted car back windows I'm seeing all over HR aren't in vain.2 months ago
Completely agree with Cindra's comments about Bennett and the GOP school board. Although Douglas County is clearly a republican stronghold, I hope that even those who support the GOP will seriously consider the damage this board has caused and vote for change. 2 months ago
The "performance based model" that the school board has implemented is just a smoke screen for the GOP to put teachers and administrators in place who believe in their agenda. It's simply a weeding out device to keep those who are "believers".2 months ago
Another childish, ridiculous move by the GOP backed school board and their sheep of uneducated followers. Like I have said before, the Republican party has lost the stranglehold they had in America and have sadly now begun to focus on influencing school board elections. These kids were probably paid with beer...:)2 months ago
Another underhanded, back room deal by the DC school board. These guys should go into politics full time. Oh wait, they are-they are a puppet for the GOP. 2 months ago
I strongly recommend watching the documentary by Brian Malone, called "The Reformers". It addresses the real issues that are going on with the GOP backed DougCo School Board. Like I said in another post, I guess since the the Republicans can't seem to win a national election, their strategy is to influence local school board races.3 months ago
The GOP is getting more desperate. I guess when you can't win a major national election, you have to start with the local school board. Shame on the Republican Party for trying to manipulate what should be a non-political entity.3 months ago
The GOP has a stronghold in Douglas County primarily because its mostly an upper class, white community. Holding onto DC shouldn't be difficult at all; as a matter of fact, if you ever lose Douglas County, it will be because you are not evovling and this brings me to my main point: The issue for the GOP is that they can't seem to grasp that America's racial make up has changed significantly over the last 25 years. Instead of reacting to that via policy changes, they have preached that they need to stick to their conservative principles, which has led to some embarrassing election results.
Presenting Marco Rubio as a token minority to give the GOP response to the State of the Union address isn't going to resolve this breakdown. Hiring black Republicans to do public relations won't either.
Until you figure out that your party is out of touch with the "average" American, you won't win many, if any, elections.9 months ago
